7 Summits
This project brought together both 3D printing and laser cutting in an exercise to design for a specific market through the development of a frangrance bottle and the corresponding visual display stand. In this case, the target market is the mountaineer with the fragrance titled “7 Summits” taking inspiration from the tallest peaks across the 7 continents:
- Asia Mount Everest 8,848 m
- South America Aconcagua 6,961 m
- North America Denali 6,194 m
- Africa Kilimanjaro 5,895 m
- Europe Elbrus 5,642 m
- Antarctica Mount Vinson 4,892 m
- Australasia Puncak Jaya 4,884 m
These are depicted as edge-lit laser cut acrylic forms on the display stand.
